Niches are a monolitic reinforced concrete complex built in situ, one or two sides, with our recoverable formwork system, resulting in a building with no joints or seams, high structural strenght which supports multiple exterior finishes.

Being a closed system, there is no possibility of leakage of fluid, thereby ensuring no pollution.

he unit of finished niche will have side walls, top ones and bottom ones, a thickness of 10 cm, with a resulting slope of 2% inside with the aim of avoiding that liquids, in cas of fast decomposition should rest inside the niche

We work on three models:

The building can be used as a buttressed retaining wall, by placing a cement slab with smalldimensions as to ensure a non-slip heel module, achieving a significant decrease in the cost of the urban planning in the cemetery project.

With Funte Insular’s construction system we have provided and applied sollutions only viable with our constructive system, achieving optimal projects adapted to our customer’s requirements.

The crypts are family burial units. They consist of two or three niches lined vertically arranged so as to form a single unit with one stone for the whole, still according to the customer’s preferences.

The crypts count on all the advantages of the in situ recoverable niche construction with concrete formwork, because they are exactly the same.

The colubarium optimize space in a cemetery. They are also manufactured in situ, with concrete to one or two sides and may contain ossuaries or urns.

  • Columbarium inside depth = 0.80m

They can be built on the side walls of the niches optimizing the use of walls often missed in curtain walls or any other surface, not excluding the construction of independent modules in plots assigned to this issue.



Cremation of bodies is an interesting alternative to burial, with clear advantages as it eliminates the problems of space in cemeteries and prevents odor emissions.

This practice, widely accepted, is increasingly applied in our country and while the cremation rate is of 15%, this figure has the tendency to approximate those of neighboring countries.

Kalfrisa has developed proven, low – power, fully automated crematoria which respect the existing environmental legislation.

The X-5/2-S EDV crematorium incorporates modulating natural gas or propane burners to adapt its power at all times to maintain the temperature of each of the cameras with high accuracy, ensuring the most economical operation and smaller carbon emissions.

The MERKUR crematoria can operate with C diesel, natural gas or propane and has an automatic system that controls the air distribution as well as the temperature of each chamber.

Both are part of a processor supply of ash and a hydraulic coffin elevator powerd by a battery.

Series PS/CM pyrolytic incinerators have been developed by Kalfrisa to ensure the effective destruction of the cemetery remains.
The large size of the pyrolysis chamber allows introducing big size waste.
